Fayemi charges Ekiti people on peaceful coexistence

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has continued his tour of communities in the state for the preparation of the state’s 2014 budget, with the communities in Oye Local Government Area of the state.
Governor Fayemi who was at Ire-Ekiti called on all citizens in the state, especially the politicians to allow peace to reign as they prepare for the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

He said everybody who wants to contest election should be allowed to do so without any fear or molestation.
He also cslled on the people of the state to avoid crisis that would portray the state in bad light.
Fayemi visited Ire-Ekiti, Ilupeju, among other communities in the local government.
The people of Ire-Ekiti called on government to assist them to re-construct the road from Afao-Ekiti to Ire-Ekiti.
At Ilupeju-Ekiti, the people requested for the upgrade of the Ilupeju Market to a neighbourhood market in the community.
They also called on government to provide them with additional two transformers in  the area and three blocks of classrooms for the school in the community.
Governor Fayemi promised to look into their request so that the state government could achieve their rural development agenda for the people.
