Phil Collins comes out of retirement to play his first gig in four years

Phil Collins has announced his first gig in four years.
The former Genesis star is set to perform a headline set at the Dreaming on the Beach concert at Fillmore Miami Beach on 6 December.
Funds raised will go towards his Little Dreams Foundation to help talented young people realise their dreams, according to NME.

Strictly speaking, Collins has performed since his last tour in 2010. He surprised pupils at his son’s school in Miami earlier this year by playing hits “In The Air Tonight” and “Land Of Confusion”.
He admitted to pre-gig jitters. “I’ve been doing this all my life but how good can it be?” he said on stage. His ex-wife Orianne Collins Mejjati told how Collins had agreed to the concert after their children asked him to join in.
The singer, 63, revealed in January that he is working with Adele on her next album despite claiming not to have heard much about her.
“I live in a cave, but she’s achieved an incredible amount and I really love her voice,” he said.
Sadly for fans, a Genesis reunion is probably not the cards, after Collins’ bandmate Peter Gabriel said: “I think there’s a small chance, but I don’t think it’s very high.”
BBC Two has plans to air a two-part documentary on the band, however, which will see the group reunited for the first time since Gabriel quit in 1975.
