After second-quarter earnings reports were released this week, the competition between Netflix and HBO increased tenfold.
While both companies boast a healthy amount of subscribers, HBO's earnings report claimed Game of Thrones has more viewers than previously publicized. The new report takes rebroadcasts, downloads, and streaming views into consideration, which means the series is seen by 20 MILLION people a week.

The folks at Netflix, not one to be out done by their opponent, did a little math and discovered that Orange is the New Black may be the more popular show.
In a recent poll, Netflix discovered that 44 percent of subscribers have watched Orange is the New Black and if you place that figure against the company's 50 million subscribers, that would mean that around 22 million people have watched the hit show.
