Her awkwardly forced attempt to be this generation's white Lil Kim is not only cringy at times, but it lowers Miley's undoubted songwriting ability. Undeniably the ex country singer turned sex provocateur's album, Bangerz has hit the industry harder than her twerking fiascos.
Bangerz is the most calculated risk of the year, from it's overly produced collaborations, to its die hard attempt to be edgy and hardcore slightly fails in some areas. The mix between her redneck ballads and hip-hop raps provide a Taylor Swift mixed with Ke$ha type feel, and leaves you slightly baffled as to which point she is trying ever so hard to prove?

There are a couple of real ground breakers on the album, when you reach songs like 'Maybe You're Right' and 'Adore You' it becomes clear that all of her years in industry have taught her at least a little something about her craft as a musician.
Miley's supposed 'teen star train wreck' has all been cleverly manufactured into this album and it's proven to have been a success with all those tongue loving Miley fans out there. From the outset the album screams a desperate plea to be 'untamed' but do not believe the hype that Miley is just another unruly pop princess. She is without a doubt a money making, hip-hop loving entrepreneur and is around to stay for a very long timeracks and 'gangster' beats there is a talented artist beneath all the twerking and marijuana boasting
