Aviation fuel tank is a specialized container designed to store aviation fuel, typically Jet-A1, which is essential for aircraft operations. These tanks are engineered to meet stringent safety and regulatory standards, ensuring the safe storage and handling of highly flammable aviation fuel. The tanks are often made from durable materials like steel and equipped with advanced features such as double-walled construction and leak detection systems to prevent contamination and environmental hazards. Proper maintenance and regular inspections of an aviation fuel tank are crucial to ensure its integrity and functionality, thus supporting the aviation industry's safety standards.
