2-Year-Old Girl Killed By Mum's Boyfriend.

A man was found guilty of kicking his girlfriend’s 2-year-old daughter to death for using the washroom on herself.
Dean Harris, 19, kicked Amina Agboola six feet across a room and split her liver in two.
Harris was alone with the girl when she used the...........
washroom on herself.

The toddler’s mother, Sarah Racqueman, 29, was cleared of wrongdoing by a Cambridge Crown Court.
Harris called 911 and when paramedics arrived he told them that the girl had fallen off the toilet, according to prosecutor Zoe Johnson. She was “limp and unconscious.” Taken to a local hospital, the little girl died later that day.

Johnson said soiled diapers and clothing were “the trigger that unleashed Harris’s anger towards Amina.”
Harris later confessed to Cambridgeshire police that he had kicked the toddler but said he did not mean to cause her serious harm, BBC News reports.

Agboola’s body showed evidence of older injuries, including a recently broken arm, bruises to her head and bitemarks on her cheek and forearm.

Racqueman told the court that a social worker had visited her home before the murder and had warned her of Harris’ domestic violence history.

“I believe in second chances,” she insisted.
“The evidence demonstrates that in the period leading up to Amina Agboola’s death, Sarah Racqueman was repeatedly warned by professionals that Dean Harris posed a risk of serious physical harm to children but she chose to ignore those warnings,” Johnson told the court. “That was to prove, unfortunately, a fatal decision.”

“Harris used completely disproportionate violence against such a tiny child,” Cambridgeshire Det. Chief Insp. Jon Hutchinson said. “There is never an excuse to hit a child and he should have had no doubt what the potential consequences were of using such force on a two-year-old.”
The County Council announced that “a serious case review into this tragic case is currently being undertaken by the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board to see if there are any lessons to be learned for agencies from the tragic death of Amina.”
