• He told Bristol Crown Court he was kidnapped six months later

  Three lapdancers and an actress have been cleared of kidnapping a club boss who failed to pay them £42,000 in wages.
  Charlotte Devaney, 34, a DJ and producer who starred alongside comedian and actor Simon Pegg in comedy How To Lose Friends and Alienate People, recruited 60 lapdancers to work for Curtis Woodman, 34, at his pop-up nightclub during the famous Cheltenham Festival in March 2012.

A man has been arrested after mistaking a female police officer for a stripper, dancing in front of her and whipping a bar towel in her face.
Mirroring a scene out of Only Fools and Horses, Paul Harbord thought it was his lucky day when a female officer walked into the Black Bull pub in Old Shotton, County Durham.

 A ghost with a sophisticated taste in wine has seemingly been caught on CCTV smashing up bottles of red in true rock n’ roll style.
Staff at the Carlisle Castle Hotel in Newtown, Sydney, were spooked when inexplicable events kept happening in the establishment, including taps turning on by themselves.
Then bottles and glasses were flung to the floor on two separate occasions with both captured on camera.
Peter Bradbury, the owner of the pub, told the Inner West Courier: ‘We have the cameras on when we’re doing the tills and we’ve seen a few strange things.
