Jonathan pleads to have a secret meeting with Obasanjo

Information got to naijahforreal.blogspot.com from on Sunday night that President Goodluck Jonathan is jittery with the way he is loosing supporters ahead of the February 14 presidential election but we didn't really believe the story until we saw this report. All is not well and Mr President is seeing it clearly.

Consequently, President Jonathan has sent an emissary to President Olusegun Obasanjo for a meeting.

The move is seen as a last minute effort to get the blessing of his estranged political godfather ahead of the presidential election, especially with the growing popularity of the presidential and vice presidential candidates of the APC, General Muhammadu Buhari and Pastor Yemi Osinbajo.

Rev, Father Ejike Mbaka says he has been receiving threat messages since his New Year Celebration message which described President Jonathan's administration as full of 'badluck' & poor performance. While delivering his sermon yesterday January 4th, the clergyman said he was not afraid of anybody and that he has delivered the message he was sent to deliver. APGA favours Buhari to emerge as president

 
The All Progressive Grand Alliance says it cannot throw its weight behind President Goodluck Jonathan as it is very likely that the candidate of the All progressives Congress, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), will emerge the winner of the presidential election next month.
The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of APGA, Mr. Campbell Umeh-Nzekwe, who is also a special adviser to the national chairman of the party, said this during an interview with our correspondent, on Sunday.

Missing AirAsia flight QZ8501: Live updates as major search operation for passenger plane resumes

A major search operation has been launched after an AirAsia passenger plane went missing as it flew from Indonesia to Singapore. Here's what we know so far:

    AirAsia flight QZ8501 lost contact with air traffic control at 7.24am on Saturday morning. There were 162 people on board - 155 passengers, and 7 crew members. The plane was last seen between the Indonesian island of Belitung, and Pontianak in Borneo. There was bad weather over Belitung at the time.
