Bungling bank robber arrested within minutes, because the bag of cash was too heavy

A bungling bank robber was arrested minutes after escaping with more than £180,000 worth of Chinese yuan – because the bag of cash was too heavy for him to escape.
CCTV footage shows the thief dragging the heavy bag across a car park and making several unsuccessful attempts to lift it onto the back of his motorcycle, before it eventually falls off and he is shot by armed security guards.
The 29-year-old thief donned a helmet and face mask and lay in wait at the bank, in Huludao City in China’s Liaoning Province, for an armoured security van to arrive.
