8,000 Zamfara women protest over scarcity of husbands

No fewer than 8,000 women on Thursday matched to the Zamfara Hisbah Commission, seeking the state government’s assistance to enable them to get married.
Led by the Chairperson of the Zamfara Widows Association, Hajiya Suwaiba Isa, and the patron, Alhaji Sa’idu Goshe, the women said they were not living a normal life and needed husbands to become whole.
“Many of us cannot afford two meals in a day because there are no men to support us,” they said.
The patron said the association had over 8,000 women, comprising 5,380 divorcees, 2,200 widows, 1,200 orphans and 80 others, whom he said, were looking for men to marry.

Rihanna's new video for track Pour It Up promises to be one of her raunchiest yet as the star continues to tease the promo on Instagram.

 

Over the weekend, the Bajan babe gave fans a first glimpse at the sexy clip, posting snaps of herself in a platinum blonde wig, as she seemed to be dressed as a stripper.

 

The 25-year old has now uploaded a number of new pics, seeing her wearing the same wig, but this time, wearing a bejewelled balcony bra, ripped denim hot pants and a red lacy thong. 

 

In one of the snaps, RiRi is seen laying on the floor surrounded by dollar bills, while in another she strikes a rather seductive pose on a gold throne.

 

It is currently unknown when the Stay singer is due to premiere the racy video.

Singing superstar Justin Timberlake has declared he has the “best wife in the world” in a new interview.

 

The Mirrors singer praised his other half, A-list actress Jessica Biel, during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ show this week, admitting Jess had been “great” to him during a recent bout of illness.

 

In an episode airing today (September 30) JT told Ellen: "I have the best wife in the world.”

 

He added: “She's been great this week … [I can get] pretty cranky!"

X Factor star has stripped off for their anti-fur campaign...

Alexandra Burke is the latest celebrity to go nude for PETA in protest against the fur trade. 

 

The Bad Boys singer has posed for the sultry black-and-white shot for photographer Kevin Davis, with the poster coming complete with the slogan 'I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur'.

 

Speaking of losing her clothes for the campaign, Burke stated: "I was nervous about posing nude as I've never done it before.
