It was veritable weird-off at last nights American Music Awards 2013, with Miley Cyrus performing Wrecking Ball with a massive kitten, Lady Gaga arriving on a unicorn and Katy Perry dressing as a Geisha.
The cat loomed over Miley for the entirety of the track, proceeding to weep diamonds during the breakdown.
This still represented a fairly reserved performance for the singer, who wore a skimpy bikini outfit again but.......
managed to avoid doing unspeakable things to foam fingers/elder pop stars.
Lady Gaga also performed at the AMAs, arriving on stage on a unicorn and singing Do What U Want with R Kelly, while Katy Perry went for a Japanese look as she performed her new single Unconditionally.
Awards-wise, Taylor Swift was the biggest winner scooping the artist of the year prize.
‘My lucky number is 13, and so far you guys have made 2013 the most magical year so far,’ she said during her acceptance speech.
‘I’m 23 and I have no idea what’s going to happen to me… I love you so much. It’s unbelievable.’
