Parents of missing Chibok girls accuse Vice Principal of being involved in their kidnap

Parents of the missing Chibok girls are now accusing the vice principal (academic) of the school in Borno where the teenage girls were kidnapped in 2014 of being somewhat involved in their kidnap

According to Malawi Nation, Linda moved in with John in January this year without her parents consent. After she moved in, John banned her from going to visit her friends and family and became abusive. On the day of the brutal beating which was Thursday April 16th, Linda had gone out without his permission to a neighboring village to see some friends. WHO warns doctors against ‘unnecessary’ caesarean sections in order to meet Targeted profit.

The World Health Organisation has called on medical doctors to only perform caesarean sections when medically necessary.
According to the WHO, caesarean section is one of the most common surgeries in the world, with the rates rising, particularly in high-and middle-income countries.
The global health body, in a statement on Friday in Geneva, said although it could save lives, caesarean section was often performed without medical need, putting women and their babies at risk of short- and long-term health problems.
It urged the need for medical practitioners to focus on the needs of the patient, on a case-by-case basis, and discourage the practice of aiming for “target rates.”

A young Nigerian man named Oyekoya Yemi on March 30th began a bike ride from Abidjan in Ivory Coast to Lagos Nigeria to create awareness for the missing Chibok girls as well as to mark the one year anniversary of the girls in Boko Haram captivity.
