A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Osita Okechukwu, has
said the Nigerian elite are opposed to the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari
as president because they are aware he would wage unreserved war
against corruption.
He said as president, Buhari would rubbish the belief that there is no
ideological difference between the APC and the PDP, by implementing the
manifesto of the opposition party.

$9.3m scandal: APC Reps storm out of House
Angry All Progressives Congress members
in the House of Representatives staged a walkout on Tuesday in protest
against a failed debate on the controversial $9.3m seized from two
Nigerians and an Israeli by the South African authorities on September
5.
The two Nigerians and the Israeli had
flown the money in a Challenger 600 jet from Nigeria to the Lanseria
International Airport, Northwest Johannesburg, where the money was
uncovered in three suit cases.
The aircraft was said to belong to the
President of the Christian Association of Nigeria and President Goodluck
Jonathan’s confidant, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor.
Don’t give Joshua visa, ANC youths tell Zuma
The African National Congress Youth
League has called on the Jacob Zuma-led South African government not to
issue a visa to the General Overseer of the Synagogue of All Nations,
Pastor Temitope Joshua.
Joshua had expressed on Sunday his desire
to visit South Africa to commiserate with the families of 84 citizens
of the country who lost their lives when a building of the church
collapsed in Lagos on September 12.
About 115 people died in the tragedy and
Joshua had described those who lost their lives as martyrs to the
consternation of South Africans.

A Ukrainian politician claims have been a victim of an iCloud hacker after her naked pictures leaked online.
However, parliamentary candidate Olga Lyulchak says she has nothing to be ashamed of, comparing her raunchy images to fine art.
The photographs of 30-year-old Ms Lyulchak emerged last week sparking a wave of controversy in Ukraine.
