Kate Hudson says she believes the nude celebrity photo leak that targeted Jennifer Lawrence and more than 100 other actresses earlier this month was illegal but not sexist.

Speaking at a junket to promote her latest film, the Zach Braff-directed comedy Wish I Was Here, 35-year-old Kate claimed female stars were targeted in the nude picture scandal because "women are a lot prettier" than men - but she added that the perpetrators should be held responsible.
There was widespread outrage after a hacker uploaded naked photos and videos of public figures including Lawrence, Avril Lavigne, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Kirsten Dunst, Aubrey Plaza and Winona Ryder to the 4chan website, in a major breach of privacy at the beginning of September.

Iggy Azalea was totally taken advantage of by the ex-boyfriend/producer who says he shot a sex tape with her -- because she says the creep also illegally copied data from her laptop.

Iggy filed a federal lawsuit against Hefe Wine ... accusing him of downloading the entire contents of her personal computer back in 2009 while they were living together in Atlanta. She says the data included unreleased master recordings.

Nigerian soldiers are stepping up their game in the fight against Boko Haram. As you read this, over 400 men of the dreaded Boko Haram sect may have been killed in a shoot out with the Nigerian military in parts of troubled North East, particularly in Borno state.

A source, who is a member of the Civilian JTF, disclosed that the insurgents were repelled back from both Ngamdu, 100 kilometres from Maiduguri on the Maiduguri-Damaturu road and Konduga, just about 40 kilometres on the Maiduguri-Bama road.

Zambian minister accuses Dangote Cement of bribery

 

A row is brewing between Zambia and Dangote Cement, a major employer in Africa’s second largest copper producer, after a government minister accused an executive at the local unit of the Nigerian company of attempting to bribe him.

The dispute appears to be the latest in a string of incidents in which the southern African nation’s government has resorted to strong-arm or unorthodox tactics against foreign investors it believes are circumventing labour laws.

Military fires GOC attacked by convicted soldiers

 

Military authorities have retired the former General Officer Commanding the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Maiduguri, Maj. Gen. Abubakar Mohammed.

Investigations by The PUNCH   revealed this on Tuesday just as the Nigeria Labour Congress, the Trade Union Congress and   human rights lawyers pleaded for the pardon of 12 soldiers who were sentenced to death by a military court on Monday.

The soldiers, who had on May 14, 2014 fired shots at Mohammed, in Maiduguri, were convicted for mutiny and other offences such as insubordination .
