Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Education, Senator Sola Adeyeye, says more governors on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party have signified their intention to join the All Progressives Congress.
Adeyeye said this in Ikirun on Monday while addressing members of the party during an empowerment programme.

Striking lecturers in the nation's public universities on Monday made good their decision not to return to work as directed by the Federal Government.
The striking teachers also refused to sign the attendance registers in their respective institutions as ordered by the government.
They said they were only waiting for the sack letters the Federal Government threatened to give them if they did not return to work.

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has been forced to scrap appearances in the UK after discovering he is banned from entering the country.
Convicted rapist Tyson, 47, was due in London this week as part of a promotional tour for his new autobiography Undisputed Truth.
But his publishers said recent changes to UK immigration laws meant he was unable to travel to the country and has been re-routed to Paris instead.
Under the new rules, any person who has been sentenced to more than four years in prison is barred from entering the country.

An Abandoned baby in Jigawa Was Rescued By NSCDC

Mr Muhammad Gidado, the NSCDC Commandant in the state, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Dutse that the abandoned baby was rescued in Babura Local Government Area.
