Four Killed, 200 Houses Burnt in Fresh Plateau Violence

At least four people were killed and many houses were burnt in a fresh attack on Kuka village in Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State Saturday evening.
Daily Trust gathered from members of the community that hundreds of people attacked the village around 5:20pm with sophisticated weapons, shooting and setting houses on fire.
Kuka village is dominated by the Gommai tribe with some Hausa, Ngas, Fulani and Tarok tribes. It borders

FOUR Nigerian cadets whose identity Vanguard could not immediately ascertain were said to have been injured following the hurricane that swept through the Philippines recently.
The cadets are currently under going  different courses in maritime studies in that country.

12years old girl, Commits Suicide in Ebonyi

A 12-year-old girl, Chisom Okechukwu, has committed suicide, hanging herself at her family compound at Nnoche-Uduke Community in Okpoitumo in the Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Miss Okechukwu, a primary five pupil at Nnoche-Uduke Primary School, was said to have left home on Saturday and was not seen until Sunday morning, hanging on a tree at the back of her compound.

It was veritable weird-off at last nights American Music Awards 2013, with Miley Cyrus performing Wrecking Ball with a massive kitten, Lady Gaga arriving on a unicorn and Katy Perry dressing as a Geisha.
The cat loomed over Miley for the entirety of the track, proceeding to weep diamonds during the breakdown.
