Boko Haram Commander Shekau Impregnates One of The Girls

Too many rough things are going on inside the deadly camp of Boko Haram. A girl abducted months ago by the Boko Haram sect is back home and she is afraid that Abubakar Shekau might be the father of her baby.

Meenah (real name withheld for security reasons) revealed this in an interview with IQ4News. The girl, who was abducted at the age of 17 after the insurgents killed her parents, managed to escape this year after having been held in captivity for almost 2 years and a half.

Why Police Pulled Out Of Emir Sanusi's Palace

After almost a week, men of the Nigeria police on Thursday ended their siege to the palatial official residence of the traditional ruler of Kano Emirate. Following the end of the siege, said to have been as a result of an order from above, preparations were being put in place to ensure that Sanusi, who had been ruling Kano from the state Government House since Monday, relocated to the palace.

The Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido, has yet to move into his palace more than 24 hours after he received his appointment letter and staff of office.

As of 8.02pm on Tuesday, the palace was still under lock and key. The presence of policemen deployed there on Sunday to keep away protesting youths   was also   still noticeable.

Under normal circumstances, Sanusi would have after receiving the staff of office resumed his royal duties at the   palace   as has been the tradition for over 1,000 years.

Robbers kidnap two sisters, demand N150m ransom

 

Suspected robbers on Sunday evening stormed the residence of an engineer, Mr. Samson Opaluwa, in Karmo, Abuja, kidnapping two ladies in the family after robbing them.

We learnt that while the elder lady, Ejura Opaluwa, is 23 years, her sister, Unekwu is four years younger.

It was learnt that the gunmen, who drove a blue Honda Accord car with number plate, HR 152 ABC, stormed the family’s residence on Impresit Camp, Associated Estate at about 5pm.

54 girls in B’Haram video identified as abducted pupils

No fewer than 54 of the girls shown in the video released on Monday by Boko Haram  have been identified by their parents.

The video was shown to the parents, pupils and teachers of the Government  Secondary School, Chibok, security men and some officials of the Borno State Governmentat in the Government House, Maiduguri on Tuesday.

Isa Gusau,  Special Adviser to Governor Kashim Shettima on Communications, however, explained  in a statement  that  the  names  were  “currently being compared with school records as well as  the ones  published some days back to ensure accuracy.”
