World’s tallest and shortest men meet for first time in London

Tiny Chandra Bahadur Dangi and super-tall Sultan Kosen will meet for the first timeThe world’s tallest and shortest men will meet in London for the first time on Thursday to celebrate the 10th annual Guinness World Records Day.
Tiny Chandra Bahadur Dangi, who measures just 54.6cm (21.5ins) will stand side by side with Sultan Kosen, who is 10 times taller than him at 251cm (8ft 3ins).

Student 'performed solo sex act in police cell after stealing ambulance while high on drugs'

Police said Stefan Sortland took cocaine and MDMA at a Halloween party before stealing and crashing an ambulance and attacking officers

A university student has been charged amid claims he stole an ambulance and took it on a 13-mile joyride while high on drugs - and then pleasured himself in a police cell.
Stefan Sortland, 18, is said to have taken cocaine and MDMA at a Halloween party before taking the emergency vehicle and crashing it.
He's also accused of attacking police officers and performing a solo sex act while he was being held in custody.

Police in Lagos arrest two teenage boys for homosexual act

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two teenage boys, Gideon Harrison, 19, and Ifeanyi Ezeorji, 14, for allegedly having sex with each other in the Ikotun area of Lagos. (street where it allegedly happened above)

According to Punch, the boys were arrested on October 23 by the Ikotun Police Division after they allegedly had sex with each other through the anus, an act known as sodomy. Lol. So the police saw them having sex or they picked them up based on hearsay? Continue...

Renowned preacher Myles Munroe and wife die in plane crash in Bahamas

Renowned gospel leader, transformational leader, business coach and author of many motivational books, Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife, Ruth Ann, died in a plane crash in the Bahamas yesterday Nov. 9th. The couple and 7 others (pictured above moments before boarding the plane) were killed after the Lear 36 executive private jet they were traveling in struck a crane at the grand Bahamas ship yard, as it approached for landing, exploding on impact.

Navy Seal who killed Osama Bin Laden revealed


UK Daily Mail has revealed the identity of the Navy Seal who shot terror chief Osama bin Laden dead in the special force's most famous operation at Abbottobad, in Pakistan, on 2 May 2011. His name is Rob O'Neill, 38, (pictured above), a highly-decorated veteran who quit after 16 yrs service. 

O'Neil waived his anonymity recently and agreed to sit down with Fox News later this month to talk about his life and that operation that finally brought some peace to America and its allies.

Dangote finally slashes Cement Price to just N1,000

Leading cement manufacturer, Dangote Cement Plc has announced drastic reduction of the prices of one of its major product - cement - across the country.

The new price announced by the Group MD/CEO of Dangote Cement, Mr. Devakumar Edwin, pegged the Dangote 32.5 cement grade at N1,000 per 50 kg bag, while the higher 42.5 grade would sell for N1,150 per bag.

Zambia gets a first African White President


Guy Scott (pictured above with his wife and the Obamas) was sworn in today as the interim president of Zambia following the death of Zambian president Michael Sata yesterday Oct. 28th. This makes Mr Scott, who is of Scottish descent but born in Zambia, the first white president in Africa since apartheid.

A 22 year old woman identified as Ifeoma Okechukwu has been arrested after she allegedly killed an unidentified man who she claimed tried to rape her at her Atlantic View Estate, Alpha Beach Road, Lekki home where she lived with her uncle. The incident happened on Monday October 27th.
According to a Punch, Ifeoma, an indigene of Imo state, said she had gone out on that faithful day around 12.30pm to buy sanitary pads because she was on her menstrual period, and was on her way back home when she was accosted by an unknown man....*graphic pic of the alleged rapist when you continue*

Happy birthday to Sosoliso plane crash victim, Kechi Okwuchi

Beautiful Kechi Okwuchi is one of the only two survivors of the Sosoliso plane crash that occurred in December 2005. It's been almost 9 years since the accident and even though it's not been easy, Kechi is living her life and loving it through the mercy of God! Today, she marks a milestone, she's 25 year old! Happy birthday, Kechi. Wishing you many more beautiful years ahead.

Nigerian Man arrested after scaling White House fence


His name is Dominic Adesanya and a Nigerian based in Maryland. He was arrested after jumping the White House Fence on Wednesday. According to police reports, around 7.15pm October 22nd, Adesanya, 23, climbed the fence on the North Lawn of the building and got about 20 yards past the fence before he was taken down by Secret Service and K.9 dogs.

Dominic is currently in police custody and being treated for injuries he sustained during the encounter.

Police parade dogs that attacked four-year-old boy

The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday paraded the two dogs that attacked four-year-old Omonigho Abraham in the Igando area of the state.
The police, while parading the two German shepherd dogs at its headquarters in Ikeja, added that the dogs had been examined and had been found to be disease-free.
The Commissioner of Police, Cornelius Aderanti, said it was important to parade the dogs so that the public would be convinced that the dogs were still in police custody, and had not been released as was being rumoured.

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has accused his predecessor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, of spending N50m on beds in his and his wife’s bedrooms in the newly built Ekiti State Government House.
He claimed in a statement made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday that what was spent on the two bedrooms, their toilets and bathrooms was in the region of N100m.
The statement titled “N3.3bn new Government House Is Fayemi’s Show of Wickedness To Ekiti People,” was signed by his Special Assistant on Information and Social Media, Mr. Lere Olayinka.

The passenger jet - believed to be an Air Portugal flight - struggled to land at Manchester Airport

Forecasters say the treacherous conditions have not yet passed and are still urging motorists in particular to take care during tonight's rush hour.
Hurricane Gonzalo last week caused widespread damage and a power blackout when it hit Bermuda, and is expected to bring high winds and rain to the UK today.
In a fresh weather warning issued this morning, the Met Office said there was still the threat of trees being downed and debris being blown into the road.

Examining cloud changes could trace missing plane MH370, claims Australian scientist



An Australian scientist, Aron Gingis claims that it is possible to trace the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 by examining cloud changes for proofs of vapour trails caused by burning fuel emissions from the aircraft.
Gingis specialises in cloud microphysics and heads the environmental consultancy firm Australian Management Consolidated, News 24 reported. Gingis said he has used the technology to locate shipwrecks in the north Pacific Ocean by identifying ship trails and the changes in cloud microphysics caused by emissions of floating vessels using archival satellite data.

US may start screening air passengers for Ebola

Looks like the US is considering screening passengers from Ebola hit countries before they enter the country. This is coming about a week after a Liberian man entered the country with Ebola. President Obama said yesterday that though the likelihood of an Ebola outbreak in the US is "extremely low' but they have to react.
