Rihanna ‘forced to walk through airport security scanner FIVE times’ because she was wearing too much bling

Not even the world's most famous pop singer can get away with lots of jewels when going through the airport 

We always imagined that Rihanna would just be allowed to saunter through airport security without a care in the world but apparently not.
According to reports the Bajan beauty had to walk through scanners at Miami airport a whopping five times before they were satisfied.
And, like us mere mortals, she even had to take off her chunky boots as she attempted to catch her flight.

 It’s thought the 27-year-old’s problem was her overload of jewellery and according to MailOnline, she became increasingly irritated when she couldn’t make it through.
We imagine her gun print clutch didn’t go down too well either!
Riri looked rocker chic for her flight wearing a rather sheer black maxi dress, featuring a holey design, a leather jacket and of course those pesky accessories that set off the scanners.

 This week Rihanna sparked speculation that she was working on a new album after she tweeted a studio picture, which she captioned: “Burning candles inside of the studio, rappin n prayin...”
Fans have been waiting eagerly for new material as she previously released a new album every year from 2009-2012.
We imagine she fancied a bit of a break because that must have been exhausting – not that she’s been quiet though.
The last two years have seen tour with Eminem, sing and make a sexy video with Shakira, star in a film and of course be linked to Chris Brown and Drake alternatively.
