The straight-talking reality star has opened up about Obama calling her husband a "jackass"
Kim Kardashian doesn't take any rubbish when it's comes to people slating her beloved hubby Kanye West - not even when it's President Obama. The 33-year-old reality star thinks it was wrong for him to have urged young people not to look to the wealth of the rapper and Kim as an example of success, branding Kanye a ''jackass'' after he interrupted Taylor Swift's 2009 MTV Music Awards acceptance speech.
In the new sizzling cover story, Kim told GQ Magazine: "I don't think it's very appropriate for the President of the United States to be commenting on pop culture … I mean, calling people 'jackass?' more pix after the cut......
"I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion – even him. I was just like, 'Why is he even commenting on this?'"
But the star admits it is a good thing her famous family and their E! reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians are so popular that even Obama feels he needs to give them a shout out.
She added: "Okay, sure, just the fact that the President of the United States even knows who I am, and is talking about whether his kids watch our show is pretty cool."
The sexy Mrs West, who has 15 month old daughter North with Kanye, was recently named GQ Woman of the Year and picked up the gong at a star-studded bash in London before flying to Australia to spend time with the rapper on tour.
Talking about giving their child the moniker North West, she said: "It was a rumour in the press and we'd never really considered it seriously, at all, but Kanye and I were having lunch … and Pharrell [Williams] came over to us and said, 'Oh my God, are you guys really going to call your daughter North? That is the best name'
"Then a little while later [US Vogue editor] Anna Wintour came over and asked the same thing. She told us, 'North is a genius name.' Kanye and I looked at one another and just laughed. I guess at that point it sort of stuck."
It's grown on us, too, and we love it when the little cutie is nicknamed Nori.
Meanwhile, Kim, who strips naked for the new edition of GQ Magazine and can be seen writhing around on a bed in the saucy shots, insists despite constantly having a social media presence, when her and Kanye are at home with North, they like to disconnect from technology alltogether.
Although, judging from the thousands of selfies she has uploaded in her time, we're not sure if this is entirely true.
She said: "When we're at home, all the phones are put away. I disconnect. No computers, no cells. The world can be a savage place. I do get scared for my daughter. And my sisters. I sometimes think, 'What is this world she’s growing up in?'"
We're sure she'll love the spotlight just as much as her mum and dad when she's a little bit older.
