Chelsea Set To Beat Arsenal To Signing Of 40 Million Pounds Striker

Chelsea are hot favourites for the eccentric AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli. The Gunners are also said to interested in landing the Italian but it seems it is their London rivals that have their noses in front.
Just like Arsenal, Chelsea’s need of a new striker have been well documented with the recent one been their
manager Jose Mourinho declaring that his team lacked a striker just like Falcao lacked a team. It stands to be seen who they would end up going for but one thing is sure they cannot get both men as they are obviously high profile strikers who won’t be willing to sit on the bench for any reason.
If Chelsea goes for Balotelli, it will leave the door open for Arsenal to go for Falcao ( who I believe we can sign if Real Madrid decide to go for him ), but should Mourinho opt for the Colombian, it could allow Wenger get his man with the aid of Puma that have indicated their willingness to help Arsenal land the maverick Italian.
But if I am to choose, I would rather have Falcao than Balotelli. The Italian is too unpredictable and eccentric to be depended upon. His exit from City was a suprise and the likely departure from AC Milan would even be a bigger surprise because he has always claimed to be a huge fan of the Rossonerris. The incessant switching of clubs mean he cannot be seen as a long term solution and a player that could be settled at a club and that’s the last thing Arsenal need this summer.
Besides those two strikers, there are still some other options open to Wenger to choose from. Bayern striker Mario Mandzukic is likely going to be available, ditto for Athletico Madrid striker Diego Costa. If he cannot get Falcao, he should go for either of those other two instead of Balotelli. The Italian is a time bomb but unfortunately no one knows when he would explode. The issue of if Wenger can handle him doesn’t really hold water because if he had real issues keeping Anelka, he might also run into the same brickwall with the Italian. As far as I am concerned, both men were forged from the same ludus.
I am sure Mourinho would play a huge politics in the summer to prevent Arsenal from landing a top notch striker because he knows that is the only missing piece in Arsenal’s jigsaw puzzle. Hence, Wenger should outsmart him by looking beyond them.
