An East St. Louis woman warned her Facebook friends that she might be killed just days before she was found stabbed to death in her apartment on Saturday night.
“If anything happens to me tonight just let my kids know I loved them dearly and tell my momma I
love her,” Michelle Rowling posted on her Facebook page on November 25th.
On Saturday night, police were called to investigate a disturbance at Rowling’s apartment complex. Police found the 25-year-old bleeding out on the floor of her apartment.
Police arrested her ex-boyfriend, 25-year-old Montrell Cooper, according to St. Clair County State’s Attorney Brendan Kelly.
