Beyoncé Releases Surprise New Album

Well, look who just came down the chimney! If it isn’t pop music’s own Beyoncé, bearing gifts in the shape of a surprise new record just in time for Christmas. Rumours have flown this year about scrapped plans for a fifth studio album from the Destiny’s Child and solo star, but just when it looked like nothing was doing, up turns ‘Beyoncé’ on iTunes overnight. The record — which is described as a ‘visual album’ and comes with videos for
each song — features guest spots from hubby Jay-Z, Drake, Frank Ocean and Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche. Oh, and baby Blue Ivy pops in for a cameo at the end, too. Check the full track and video listing below:
