If you look at the price tag on a pot of cream, chances are you're probably not Crème de la Mer's classic customer. The cult face cream, in its regular jar, will set you back £105.

Right about now you should probably look away all together, because their latest Christmas offering comes in at three million naira (£12,500) - and there isn't any gift, slick car or facelift with purchase.
What you are paying for here is essentially the packaging - albeit recyclable - because it's by Boucheron, the fine French jeweller.
In keeping with Crème de la Mer (translated into erm, sea cream) and the oceanic theme, Boucheron decided on mother-of-pearl for the Christmas case, going on to embellish the jar with their Clous de Paris motif and a sea blue cabochon.
If the sea, and an inner glow, is your thing, you could alternatively sign up to a small luxury cruise.
