Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reunited on the red carpet at the 2013 Govenors Awards on Saturday night for the first time in months where they were joined on the red carpet by eldest son Maddox.
The 38 year-old actress, who looked stunning in a Gothic style Atelier Versace black gown, was honoured on the night with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. It's the first time we've seen Angelina and her fiance Brad on the red carpet together since July at the Tokyo premiere of Brad's movie World War Z.Angelina and Brad are joined on the red carpet by son Maddox
The couple have spent the last few months apart as they work on different projects. Brad, who turns 50 next month, has been in the UK filming new World War II movie, Fury, while Ang has relocated the rest of the Jolie-Pitt clan to Australia where she's getting ready to shoot her next directorial project Unbroken.

It seems the actor found time in his busy schedule to be there on the night, with 12 year-old son Maddox also putting in an appearance on the red carpet. The eldest of the Jolie-Pitt six children, Maddox certainly looked proud of his mum as he posed for pictures with her and Pitt on the red carpet.
The star studded event was also attended by the likes of Jennifer Garner, Amy Adams, Mark Whalberg, Jake Gyllenhaal, Idris Elba and Steven Spielberg.
Fellow honouree Angela Lansbury with Emma ThompsonIn her acceptance speech, Ange said of Brad and her son: "Your support and guidance make everything I do possible. Mad [son Maddox], I'm not going to cry I promise. I'm not going to embarrass you. You and your brothers and sisters are my happiness. There is no greater honor than being your mother.
Amy Adams stunned in a strapless purple gown"I will do as my mother asked and do the best I can with this life to be of use. To stand here today means I did as she asked. If she were alive, she'd be very proud."
Lansbury and Martin were also in for some high praise, with Geoffrey Rush saying of the former: "Are you the living definition of range? When they talk about the Golden Age of Hollywood are they just talking about you? These are rhetorical questions."
